Leizhan cultural paper deinking system

Deinking System Design for High-Grade Cultural Paper Manufacturing

Premium cultural paper requires deinked pulp (DIP) with ISO brightness above 88% and effective residual ink concentration (ERIC) below 100 ppm. Achieving these specifications from mixed office waste (MOW) or sorted office paper (SOP) demands a multi-stage deinking line with precise chemical dosing and efficient flotation.

Technical Specifications: Leizhan Deinking Line

  • High-Consistency Drum Pulper: 200-400 TPD, 15-18% operating consistency, gentle defibering preserves fiber length
  • Pre-Flotation Cells: 3-4 stage arrangement, 0.8-1.2% feed consistency, ink removal efficiency 70-80%
  • Forward Cleaners: 4-stage cascade, 0.6-0.8% consistency, 90%+ ash and lightweight contaminant removal
  • Fine Slotted Pressure Screen: 0.10-0.15mm slots, sticky removal >90%, accepts flow 75-85%
  • Post-Flotation: 2-3 stages, ink removal 65-75%, final brightness gain 4-6 ISO points
  • Disc Disperser: 25-30% consistency, 80-95 C operating temperature, residual ink size reduction
  • Washing/Thickening: Twin-wire press or disc filter, outlet 8-12%, ash reduction 15-25%

Chemicals and Process Control

Deinking chemistry is critical. Sodium hydroxide (0.5-1.0% on fiber) swells fibers and saponifies binders. Sodium silicate (1.5-2.5%) stabilizes peroxide and buffers pH. Hydrogen peroxide (0.5-1.5%) provides bleaching action. Surfactant/collector (0.2-0.5%) agglomerates ink particles for flotation. Precise dosing control keeps chemical costs at -12 per ton of DIP.

Maintenance Recommendations

  • Flotation cells: Clean foam reject channels weekly; inspect air injectors monthly for plugging
  • Pressure screen baskets: 0.10-0.15mm slots require ultrasonic cleaning every 4-6 weeks; basket replacement at 8-10 months
  • Forward cleaner cones: Check for wear at bottom orifice every 3 months; replace cones showing >0.5mm diameter increase
  • Disc disperser plates: Gap check monthly; plate replacement at 2,000-3,000 hours
